Please note the construction/assembly of a new Ship loader at Copersucar terminal has already begun.
According to the expectations of Copersucar principals, the construction/assembly of their new Ship loader shall be concluded by January of 2013 for commencement of all necessary "tests" for the next crop.
FYI, such new Ship loader has been projected to achieve a loading capacity of about 3,500 m/t p/h. But, it shall reach the average loading rate of
about 2,500 to 3,000 m/t p/h due to the maximum capacity of the back loading system of the terminal (conveyor belts and elevators).
Besides the above, terminal full project comprises the construction/fitting of another new Ship loader under same characteristics of the aforementioned one
but still without any fixed date for commencement and conclusion of its assembly. During the period between readiness of the first new Ship loader and readiness of the upcoming second new Ship loader, terminal will most likely operate with 3 Ship loaders simultaneously, being the new one along with the other two existing ones and upon readiness of the second new Ship loader, then the 2 existing ones shall be dismantled thus leading terminal's operations back to the normal stage of 2 Ship loaders concurrently.
