PORT OF PARANAGUA TESTS LOADING GRAINS IN THE RAIN

On Wednesday, 3rd July, the port of Paranagua tested a cover which attaches to the end of the shiploader and fits in the ship's hold for the purpose of isolating the ship so grains can be loaded in the rain. This is an attempt to resolve this old problem and the prototype structure is being tested to verify its efficiency. If approved, the port will be able to continue loading on rainy days.
